Rehabilitation of Wolfgat Nature Reserve

This project involved the rehabilitation of Coastal dunes supporting Cape Flats dune strandveld (thicket) vegetation, along Baden Powell Drive, Mitchell’s Plain.

Key tasks:

• Rehabilitation of dunes
• Clearing of alien vegetation
• Replacement of burnt indigenous thicket vegetation
• Cleaning of beach area adjacent to Wolfgat Dune system
