Working for the Coast – Melkbosstrand to Hout Bay

This project involved beach clean-up, dune stabilization and infrastructure upgrade on the Western Cape coastline, from Melkbosstrand to Hout Bay.

Key tasks:

• Beach Clean-up
• Rehabilitation and erosion prevention of sand-dunes
• Clearing of alien vegetation
• Replacement of indigenous vegetation
• Upgrade of public space infrastructure
• Renovation and upgrade of public toilets (Roofing, Painting, Plumbing)
